Apical Pruning Harvester and Shredder Implement

This implement, currently under development by Viva Verde and not yet available on the market, combines a forestry harvester head with an integrated pruning shredder.

The wood chipper can operate in two distinct configurations:

1. Aligned Configuration – the wood chipper is positioned directly in line with the harvester head’s output, enabling immediate feeding of processed material into the chipper.
2. Offset Configuration – the wood chipper is shifted out of alignment with the harvester head’s output, allowing unchipped wood to exit freely.

Switching between configurations is achieved through an actuator, which may be hydraulic or electric, enabling controlled repositioning of the wood chipper relative to the harvester head.
